Spices are known for having anti-diabetic properties that improve glucose tolerance activities in the body and are hypoglycaemic in nature as well! Spices like pepper, asafoetida, aloe, fenugreek, cumin, curry leaves, cinnamon, garlic, ginger and mustard are a beneficial recommendation to add as part of your daily diet.
Legumes are very low in the glycemic index and provide necessary phytochemicals and high fibre. Legumes have a low glycemic index, are high in fiber and phytochemicals.
